PRESIDENT/CEO |

Habitat of CFC Board of
Directors is seeking a President-CEO. The successful candidate must
inspire a wide range of people about Habitat’s mission and its
implementation in Coastal Fairfield County. Be effective in fundraising
to support Habitat’s activities. Manage significant growth from the
current rate of homebuilding (roughly 15 annually). Develop a strategy
for finding land, designing housing and implementing construction
projects to realize Habitat’s growth potential. Direct a growing staff,
particularly those parts devoted to fundraising, fiscal management and
general administration. Balance attention to staff management across
many functions with external visibility among such key constituencies as
high wealth individuals, corporate givers, the faith community and
housing interests.
HFHCFC anticipates a
level of compensation commensurate with the winning candidate’s
qualifications and comparable to similar non-profit organizations in
Fairfield County.

MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER |
|
Habitat for Humanity
International (HFHI) in conjunction with the Habitat for Humanity (HFH)
Affiliate in Bridgeport, CT, is seeking a seasoned Major Gifts Officer
who possesses
hands-on experience in cultivating
donor-centric six-figure relationships which have resulted in major gift
donations. HFHI and the HFHCFC – Bridgeport CT Affiliate are
non-profit Christian Ministries dedicated to eliminating
substandard housing. This
exceptional opportunity will provide an individual the opportunity to
work collaboratively with Senior Executives and program professionals in
developing fundraising strategies through a donor focused development
program.
The ideal candidate will
possess a minimum of 5 years of front-line experience in major gifts
fundraising for a large non-profit, preferably within the geography of
the Northeast corridor. Superior presentation skills and the ability to
deal effectively with diverse constituencies including principal donors,
Board members, national staff and leadership in the field are a must. A
BA/BS and CFRE are both strongly preferred.
